Intro Blog. "A portion of yourself: PHYSICAL."

Welcome to my initial blog post.
First, good day, and I am hoping you are well.

In pursuit to find a significant other, we can often forget ourselves in the whole mix.
There are points that I hope and wish to convey here that I may lack full clarity, but I will do my best.

When we go forward seeking that special person --for whatever capacity we want them to fill-- we may not give the attention to ourselves to make sure we are in the better condition that we can be in. Whether it is physical, mental, financial, social, or more, we may be looking for a partner that is perfect for a current version of our self that we have not taken time to work on.

Physically, I am not talking about being that tone and super-fit individual in the gym whose veins, pumping blood, are screaming in a Scottish accent --straight out of Star Trek-- "Captain, I have given 'er all she's got. I can do no more!"
I am talking about getting in some time, whether walking around your neighborhood, treadmill, or local high school track; lifting some weights at home, at the gym, or local fitness park; cutting back on those sweets that you KNOW dang well are not good for you in this whole process.
The goal with including some physical activity is not so much to make you more physical appealing. It wont hurt. But, it is to increase self confidence.
You may be shy by nature, but when you have completed a number of physical activities, you know and feel this unfound sense of confidence. It may all stem from what you see and know what you have accomplished that lends itself into your psychological makeup, boosting your outlook and positive opinion of yourself, and I may add, to your surroundings.

To close this blog out...
I would highly encourage some routine --no matter how small it may be-- to be started. The most difficult portion is actually starting. From there, it is a matter of continuation.
Get that time in. Heck, crank out something when you are busy.
A push-up or two on your break?
HECK YEAH!
A couple of lunges along the hallway?
HECK YEAH!
Take the stairs up to the 10th floor?
HECK YE-- What the..?? Uhhh, no! Are you crazy? I am not ready for that stuff! Maybe one floor...for now.

Hope you have enjoyed this blog post.
Please look forward to other blogs touching upon the other topics introduced in this one.

Best wishes to you all.
You are not alone in the pursuit of happiness.
You will find it. You just need to stay positive.
You be you in the best sense of it all, and they will come buzzing around you.
