Easy going full time liveaboard boater, looking to share this lifestyle. Friends first.
I avoid drama and always look for (and find) the positive in all I do. I was raised as a gentleman and I treat others with respect. I'm definitely "old school" in that regard. I'm financially comfortable and live a blessed life. I'm not looking for a SB or a quick "hook up". Although I am a very generous and giving individual, I'm not looking to financially support the intelligent, resourceful individual that I seek.
Others have said: "You have the ocean coursing through your veins; you were born to be on the water; it's YOU." What about you? Can you drop an anchor? Set sails? Can you be comfortable in a "tiny house"? Do you like to travel? Do you like meeting strangers who become family?
It's time to enjoy life and one curve that life has thrown at me is that I'm doing this alone. I'd love to share and enjoy these times with the right one. The incredible sunsets during 'sundowner' time, the beaches, the up close dinghy rides, even the storms toughing it out. These are the things that give life meaning.
If you've read this far, thank you. And here's the reward: I'm planning to explore the Bahamas on my boat this coming winter (2023-2024). I'd like to meet and get to know a companion who has the skills, desire and abilities to accompany me. It would be ideal to have a companion for the long run, someone comfortable living aboard, someone who will laugh and cuddle but also be willing to pitch in a hand at times.
Intelligence, sense of humor, caring, down-to-earth yet outside the box are paramount. Friends first. Then...?
