More about me
In my own words:

Thanks for taking a look at my profile, I'm a single guy that doesn't look or act like an OG. I'm 5'9", 200 lbs, good shape, tan, a little hairy, salt & pepper hair, nice smile, lots of energy. I'm a very open-minded person. I can talk to anyone about most anything. Depends on your comfort level and commitment to your subject. I try to keep abreast of the news of the day. Sometimes that over-exposure just makes me want to turn-off & tune-out for a while to relax and meditate. I'm pretty level headed and practical. Kind of handy too with my hands & tools. Yes, I end up being a mechanic to my GFs, and No I don't have any long-term warranty contracts right now...all expired.

I was born & later raised here in California. I've never been married & no kids. Those fish either broke the line or just never bit! I'm still casting out my line hoping for the best. I was in the military (Navy) way back when & I've been in electronics for 25 years ever since.

For many people Politics & Religion are deal breakers... I try to look at things logically and practically. As well as from a humanist & environment point-of-view. So, I guess I'm a mixed bag when it come to Politics.

I was taken back to my Father's land at one until I was eight years old. In Central America and further south they celebrate "Carnival" and "Martis-Gras". Since these celebrations center around the Roman Catholic influence. Many celebrate by wearing Devil costumes. And I had the distasteful luck of having to go to an all boys Catholic school surrounded by male priests. We don't celebrate Halloween over there. And this has become one of my favorite holidays. Hence I bring some Carnival to Halloween. But so many people here and everywhere else seem to think it's about being evil and worshiping Beelzebub. I guess "people" don't get it or me. Or are just scared and prejudiced about my "beliefs". I study many and have my own take on the whole "New Age" thing. Which is not new at all, but ancient. Just sayin' ... I felt the need to write this short blurb.

I've traveled quite a bit. I would like to do more in the future... Been to Brisbane, OZ for the 1988 World's Fair via Tahiti. Been to Spain for the 1992 World's Fair and the Olympics. I did as much as I could with the limitations while serving in the U.S. Navy in Europe. I took two leaves of absence and took the train through Italy & Sicily. And found people are in their own world's mostly. They see what has been put in front of them. Travel has expanded my mind. I don't know who said it... "Morality is based on Geography." It is often true.

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” -Mark Twain

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain

I'm looking for a free-thinking & understanding person to have good times with. Let me know what you think. Tell me more about yourself and I hope to hear from you ....
