I’m the type of person who is determined to get enjoyment out of each and every day. It’s not about what I’m doing, but rather who I’m with. I have traveled the world through my career as a C-5 Galaxy pilot and now that I am retired I am looking forward to relaxing and enjoying these great years ahead!

A little bit about my personality and what I like to do: I love all outdoor activities no matter what the season! Hiking, biking, skiing, and kayaking are a few of my favorites. And nothing’s better after a busy day outdoors then relaxing over dinner with the right company! I get a ton of satisfaction out of being able to help others, and am always there when my friends and family need someone to fix a car or do a repair around the house. I’m definitely the “go to” guy when it comes to things of that nature.

I’m an avid reader and am always in the middle of a book. My taste in genre is mostly centered around mystery and suspense. I love everything by Michael Connelly, John Grisham, Jonathan Kellerman, and Dean Koontz. If you’re a well-read woman, we will get along!

I definitely have a sensitive side! I will admit that I cry over movies that display a love story and a hero who actually prevails. Gets me every time!

I love country music, especially Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, and Montgomery Gentry.

At this point in my life I really value honesty, trust, and commitment more than just about anything else in a relationship. I want to build a life with someone who gets a kick out of my sense of humor, shares my outlook on the world, and wants a true partnership. The woman I’m hoping to meet is genuine, fun-loving, and always smiling. Chemistry is the most important criteria, so I won’t limit myself with a list of requirements (other than healthy and happy), and will instead say that I will know you when I see you!
