- More about me
- In my own words:
-
I'm looking for someone who wants to date an older guy and explore the possibility of building some kind of a 'friend with benefits' relationship, but I'm open to something deeper and more permanent. Just coffee or lunch at first, because I'd want to get to know you, and vice versa. I'm mostly attracted to women in their 20s or 30s, but there's some wiggle room there. I'm not into the bar scene (though I did my time there years ago), and I'm not into multiple partners. One girl at a time for me.
I'm retired, and though I'm not wealthy I have an adequate income. I'm kind of quiet, not into parties or crowds, though I'm comfortable enough around people. I'm in good shape for my age, but I'm not the buff Marine I once was. I smoke both cigarettes and cannabis. I love the outdoors, like to go camping and fishing (I have a boat), and for short hikes. I have a little GoPed scooter that's a blast to putt around on. I like to read a lot, in a variety of genres. I enjoy going for long drives, taking pictures, going out for breakfast or dinner, or to see the occasional movie, and I love to play a little guitar (I have an acoustic and an electric). Politically I'm a progressive, but I recognize the validity of some conservative arguments, too, and I believe we need to find a balance between conservative and liberal points of view — both have something to offer. Spiritually, I am acutely aware of the Great Spirit breathing life into the world moment by moment, but I don't subscribe to any religions. The Native American worldview is comfortable for me, but I see truth in many different schools of thought. Gotta think outside the box. Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet" and Ruth Beebe Hill's "Hanta Yo!" are high on my list of guidebooks. I think the most important thing in a relationship is intimacy. That requires honesty and good communication, and in time, respect and trust — obviously not something that happens overnight, but if things go well I'd like to work toward that.
You are a single girl who practices the art of doing good with your life. You're honest, loyal to your friends, and you care about yourself, your fellow beings and the planet. You're not into drugs or alcohol, except for nicotine, caffeine, cannabis, and the occasional cold beer on a hot day or wine with dinner. Okay, maybe a shot or two once in a while, but you're not an alcoholic. You get the picture. You think it might be awesome to have a chill older guy with a lot of life experience, intelligence and compassion as a special buddy.
So if you're interested, shoot me a note and tell me something about yourself, maybe we can have a chat. Thanks for reading this. I hope your day's awesome!
